Cica Clear and Hydrating Soothing: cosmeceuticals for sensitive skin and the barrier
How two cellmedics lines — centella-based Cica Clear and the hydrating Hydrating Soothing — combine into gentle care for reactive skin and support for the protective barrier. Cosmetic care, not a medical procedure.
Sensitive and reactive skin responds with tightness, redness and discomfort to almost any trigger. After salon treatments, skin also often needs gentle soothing care. The cellmedics cosmeceutical line from Korea's iCELmedi covers this area with two complementary lines — Cica Clear and the hydrating Hydrating Soothing.
It's worth setting the frame up front: this is cosmetic skincare for topical use, not treatment. These products care for, hydrate and reduce the feeling of discomfort, but they are not medical preparations and do not replace a specialist's guidance.
Cica Clear: centella for sensitive and problem skin
The Cica Clear line is built around Centella asiatica (cica) — an ingredient traditionally used in care for skin prone to redness and breakouts. The line includes a toner, serum, ampoule and cream that combine into a complete care protocol: the soothing toner reduces the feeling of tightness and discomfort, the centella serum and ampoule work on soothing and restoring balance, and the soothing cream closes the routine for irritated and reactive skin.
The logic of the line is to run the whole routine on a single soothing solution, without switching actives at every step. For a treatment room that means a predictable protocol; for retail, a clear set a client assembles for sensitive skin.
Hydrating Soothing: hydration and barrier support
The second line focuses on hydration and support for the skin's protective barrier. It includes a toner with chitosan to reinforce the barrier, suited to weakened and dehydrated skin, a hydrating and soothing serum for sensitive skin in a 500 ml treatment-room format, a highly concentrated ampoule for intensive hydration and recovery, and a moisturising cream for dry and sensitive skin in a 250 g jar.
The two lines are easy to combine: the centella of Cica Clear handles soothing, Hydrating Soothing handles hydration and the barrier. The 500 ml and 250 g treatment-room volumes are intended for course work, while the compact formats are for home care and retail.
What the formulas are built on
iCELmedi's in-house development draws on four competencies stated by the company, including biomimetic peptide synthesis and plant callus cultivation to obtain active extracts. The company links its recovery formulas to its competency in growth factors and protein recombination. We quote all such wording as stated by the company and confirm it with documents at the deal stage.
Manufacturing takes place at certified partner facilities, while iCELmedi remains the brand owner and formulation developer. As stated by the company, it holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications; copies of the documents are requested and verified at the deal stage.
Terms and Teranova's role
Formats for purchase: toners and serums of 500–1,000 ml, 100 ml ampoules, creams of 20–250 g. The minimum order is from 100 units per item; for OEM/ODM under your own brand, from 3,000 units. The delivery basis is FOB Korea, payment is 100% T/T, and production lead time is 50–60 days after order confirmation; delivery times depend on the market and registration requirements.
Teranova Group arranges negotiations, supplier due diligence and delivery support from first contact to shipment. We request supporting documents from the company and help select items for your market. The two verification marks on the profile are a documented fact, not a promise of outcome: Teranova coordinates and supports the deal but does not replace verification on your side.
